Essential Functions
Daily functions will include analyzing samples (plant, soil, water, manure), performing QA and QC and managing data into a central database. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist in method development.
Assure that analytical and other laboratory equipment are properly maintained and operational.
Assist with and/or prepare results for publication or presentations at research conferences and extension meetings.
Assist in sample collection during field visits. Occasional travel will be required.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science or closely related field.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
Minimum Skills and Abilities
Must have strong analytical skills and knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.

Minimum License and Certifications
A valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment is required. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
