Senior researcher position in:
Sex dimorphism in skin aging and cancer susceptibility
A senior research position is available for an individual with outstanding track record in mammalian cell biology and epigenetics and demonstrated organizational / administrative skills, within a research program led by G. Paolo Dotto, MD, PhD at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center (CBRC), Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) / Harvard Medical School (HMS). Overall research efforts, at the interface between basic and clinical sciences, are on sex differences in cancer susceptibility, with a specific focus on androgen signalling in skin aging and cancer (melanoma). Requirements :
- PhD in Cell Biology or Genetics , a MD with > 2 years basic research experience
- At least one first author paper in a high ranking journal (impact factor >8)
- Skills in bioinformatics and analysis of large data sets
- Excellent knowledge of the English language and writing skills
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and highly cooperative attitude
- Independent, creative and enthusiastic researcher capable of working efficiently in an international team
Work information :
- Competitive salary, depending on previous experience, possibility of substantial status advancement depending on performance
- Contract duration :1 year, renewable
- Expected start date: February 1st or later, as needed
- Activity rate: 100 % (research and research supervision of junior laboratory members, some laboratory management)
