Residential Counselor

PAY RATE: $18.00 and up depending on experience

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Residential Counselor to work in our Residential Program as a support person and counselor for 11AM-7PM Sat/Sun and 3-11PM Wed-Fri shift coverage. We also have a Float position Tues/Sat. 9AM-5PM schedule available.

As a Residential Counselor, you’ll be responsible for providing services and support to individuals living with mental illness, assisting them in their recovery, and helping them attain the goals they have set for themselves. If you are flexible — and possess excellent administrative and counseling skills — this could be a great opportunity!

• Assist in routine residential operations, including meals and housekeeping
• Assist in managing activities and services
• Support clients in reaching their goals
• Ensure the safety of residents and other staff

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education, or human services is required.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, and some holidays is required.
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle with auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.
• CPR certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
• MOAB (crisis management) certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
• He-M 1202 (medication management) certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
