POSITION SUMMARY
The Respiratory Practitioner communicates and interacts with physicians and nurses to provide respiratory functions that will promote and enhance patient (customer) care. The Respiratory Therapist performs duties that include management of mechanical ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, nebulizer and meter dose inhaler administration, chest percussion and pulmonary toilet. The procedures mentioned above are verified and carried out according to established department policy and procedure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Graduate from AMA approved Respiratory Care Program
2. Registered NBRC or VA State Registry
3. Current Virginia License
4. Current CPR certification
