Job Summary

Envision Group is looking for a highly motivated, multi-tasker who is ready to be an active participant in shaping and driving innovative educational solutions that drive sales, profitability and retail/operational excellence. We are looking for someone who thrives on people engagement and is a pro at identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, anticipating needs as well as solving hard problems and presenting methodologies for resolution. This position will be part of a team that develops retail strategies with broad application.
The Retail Training Manager will manage initiatives focused on all aspects of retail learning and development within Envision Group’s Retail Strategy Team. The position supports the Retail Strategy Team with the identification, development, deployment, and analysis of performance-based retail training initiatives that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational/Retail understanding and/or experience
  • Identify performance-based training needs that drive results by evaluating existing opportunities in the business.
  • Support the direction of structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Develop and deliver training programs by understanding team dynamics and adapt differentiated instruction and methodologies as needed to ensure success.
  • Evaluate and communicate effectiveness of learning initiatives through assessments, surveys, case studies, and feedback.
  • Deliver retail training courses via the online Learning Management System.
  • Maintain courses and learning materials in the LMS.
  • Develop training courses and materials that educate field associates on digital hospitality platforms (e.g., mobile ordering, self-checkout, online, frictionless, etc.).
  • Keep current with industry trends and research new learning methods.
  • Collaborate with all partners, including retail team members, sponsors, business owners and field operations.
  • Maintain reporting on participation and training enrollment.
  • Drive results through performance-based retail training and educational development opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze training data/feedback to make well-informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal team partners to enhance retail training brand awareness.
  • Align retail experience strategies with strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, education, training/instructional design, or marketing/communications (or in a related discipline preferred).
  • Minimum five years’ experience in hospitality/retail
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines and effectively prioritize and meet a consistent flow of deliverables
  • Experience developing training programs and resources using a variety of learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, iSpring, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Experience using video editing and graphic design tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written), professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change
  • High level of attention to detail, including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a people-centered approach
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Proficient in computer software programs, including MS Office
  • Ability to communicate on various levels (to include management, client, customer and associate levels)
