Our loan officers receive leads daily and originate both reverse and traditional home loans. You'll benefit from a generous base salary as well as commissions . Our technology stack makes originating both reverse and traditional loans simple. We are looking for experienced reverse mortgage originators as well as experienced traditional loan officers looking to expand into reverse mortgage origination.

For Qualified Candidates we offer: • A full menu of traditional and reverse mortgage products including Conventional, FHA, VA and Reverse Mortgages • Generous base pay plus fast payouts for commissions • Web-based LOS and integrated CRM platforms • In-house processing, underwriting, closing, and funding • Onboarding training and transition support • Continuous sales & marketing support and training opportunities • Back-office support, including dedicated accounting, HR, and compliance teams • A comprehensive suite of benefits, including company-paid short-term and long-term disability, medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401k plan with company contributions • A relaxed and fun team-oriented environment Job Duties: • Talk with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals • Maintain an active knowledge base of all of the organization’s loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant • Identify and recommend products that meet the customer’s needs and the organization’s lending guidelines • Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process along • Utilize professional judgement to determine which potential borrowers represent good risk opportunities for the organization • Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness • Improves loan applications and documentation by informing applicant of additional requirements • Keep loan information confidential • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks Competencies • Reverse mortgage experience is a plus, but not required • Ability to manage pipeline and effectively incoming lead flow • Strong communication skills in various platforms (phone, sms text and email) • Organization & Time Management Skills • Attention to detail • Proficient with standard Microsoft Office Suite programs Minimum Qualifications • Current registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry • Proven track record of successfully working with multiple referral sources • 1+ years of experience in the consumer loan industry • 1+ years of experience in the mortgage industry • Ability to manage a pipeline and fund at least 3 loans per month • Good working knowledge of loan underwriting guidelines, processing and closing functions • Ability to work under pressure • Excellent customer service and communication skills Compensation Details • $120,000-$200,000 per year. This role is commission based.
