Summary

The Road Transportation Analyst will be responsible for supporting and administering OIA Global’s road transportation management systems and tools. As an OIA Global Road Transportation Analyst, you will interact with a wide range of different parties, including team members within our facilities, various different internal organizations/departments as well as external vendors and technology partners. Responsibilities will include loading and maintaining road transport pricing agreements with both vendors and clients, developing and implementing new and improved processes to better leverage OIA Global systems, working with vendors and technology partners to improve integrations and partnerships, as well as oversee various reporting and compliance initiatives to further OIA Global’s digital transformation

· None

Essential Functions:

· Loading and maintaining carrier and client pricing agreements within road transportation management systems

· Maintenance of road transportation systems including interfaces and points of integration both with OIA Global systems and external parties

· End user support for the use of road transportation management systems, including system and process training

· Responsible for various reporting initiatives, including developing and reporting on road transport KPIs.

· Support carrier procurement as well as customer bid activities with data preparation and analysis

· Perform competitive research and analysis, including pricing and cost analysis

· Evaluate, quantify, and present opportunities for continuous improvement of road processes and systems

· Collect and coordinate process and system support requests from various business units within assigned region

· Work closely with various operations and product managers to support ad hoc requests

· Communicate effectively across multiple business units (Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, etc), including with senior management, as well as with external technology partners and carriers

Skills And Qualifications

· Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills

· Strong level of technical proficiency; previous experience or familiarity with xml mapping, EDI messaging, or API communication preferred, but not required

· Must have at least 2+ years within trucking and logistics industry as a transportation analyst or role with similar requirements. Must be familiar with the trucking industry and various different trucking services, special focus on LTL, FTL, and drayage/intermodal; previous work experience either in third party logistics or freight forwarding is a plus

· High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Experience with MS access, MS PowerBI (or similar), or CargoWiseOne is a plus. Previous experience with TMS management and administration (3Gtms, OTM, I2/JDA/BlueYonder, Descartes, Manhattan, TAI etc) a strong plus

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Demonstrate engaging professional presence; able to develop and effectively present information to internal and external parties

· Ability to work and manage multiple timelines independently

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Pay: $61,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
