Job description
Local Roll Off company is looking for a qualified and dependable Class B driver. In this role you will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading goods as well as confirming accuracy and safety of delivery contents. Must be an efficient and accountable worker with a clean driving record.
Our drivers are home every night. These are Monday through Friday jobs with occasional Saturdays. Overtime is available. Potential for commission income as well as hourly rate.
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle (8 speed specific)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid Class B driver’s license required
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Skilled and confident driver
- Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
- Physically and mentally fit
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- An innate sense of direction
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- High level of composure and good stress management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
