Leaman Container, a trusted name in packaging since 1974, is searching for a Rotary Die Cutter Operator to join and help lead their team in Fort Worth, TX.

If you have 3 years of experience as a Rotary Die Cutter operator and leadership ability, then Leaman Container wants to hear from you! Experience in corrugated converting or industrial packaging is a plus!

Essential Duties:

  • In this role you will lead, mentor, train, support, and hold accountable the First Helper at the Rotary Die Cutter.
  • Set-up print and die cut sections of die cutter in accordance with proper setup techniques
  • Set-up stacker to effectively yield high output while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Perform 1st box and subsequent inspections throughout the production run to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Postproduction red-tagging (identifying) of cutting dies and plates which require maintenance.
  • Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
  • Cross train on other machines.
  • Switch duties with First Helper as necessary.
  • Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data Entry (PDE), Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
  • Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment by completing daily cleaning checklists, monitoring machine capability, communicating with maintenance, and participating in preventative maintenance.
  • Adhere to production schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.
