NiteHawk Sweepers is seeking a skilled, team-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the Sales Administrator provides administrative support relating to direct and dealer sales, customer service, inventory management, and production. Sales Administration entails a broad range of duties across the entire sales cycle, from generating new leads, to preparing work orders and invoicing for sold units, and facilitating the delivery and finalization of completed units. The Sales Administrator works across multiple departments in the company and is an integral part of the organization.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Works with sales team to provide support on ongoing deals and to assist with lead generation
  • Maintains customer database by performing various checks on data quality and lead generation and management
  • Coordinates with sales team on quote variations, invoicing, special instructions
  • Supports production in providing work orders, build documents quotes, and other admin support as needed
  • Is a liaison with the sales team to help ensure a seamless order and delivery customer experience
  • Maintains and updates customer files
  • Special assignments as needed in support of varying departments including marketing, finance, purchasing, customer service

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

  • Able to communicate and collaborate across departments
  • Able to maintain detailed records across multiple software platforms
  • Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage several projects at once
  • Ability to build and foster effective business relationships with customers, vendors and other departments within and across the organization
  • Enjoys working independently and on a team

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
  • 2+ years previous experience in an administrative environment
  • Previous sales and/or manufacturing experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Work performed in an office environment, with frequent sitting for extended periods of and occasional stooping, reaching, and lifting items up to 25 lbs. Primary duties require sufficient manual dexterity and visual/auditory acuity to operate standard office equipment. Occasional walking around non-climate controlled manufacturing facility required.
