Job description
This position is remote and open to those located in the U.S. but limited to the Western states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, or Arizona.
You are a Sales Development Representative with drive, energy, and a capability for sparking conversations with prospects. You are adept at balancing between inbound and outbound lead flows driving conversion rates and pipeline. You will play a critical role in our sales team by prospecting, discovering, and expanding business opportunities. You will identify the right prospects, qualify them, help nurture the long-term relationship and convert them to real opportunities. We expect you to have the drive to achieve ambitious goals, and yet work with the team to streamline operational excellence.
What you will do
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to build a pipeline for strategic and mid market accounts
- Balance between inbound and outbound lead flows to ensure quota attainment
- Triage our inbound leads to ensure we align them with the right resources
- Drive new business for the teams by qualifying inbound leads
- Identify key contacts for target accounts, and firmly build the foundations for sales engagement
- Engage prospects across multiple channels including phone, email, LinkedIn, social, and more
- Add value by providing the right content for each opportunity, ie. case studies, one-pagers, testimonials, presentations, or event invitations
- Manage, track and report sales activities and results using Salesforce

What you bring to the table
- Prior experience in both outbound and inbound lead flows
- More than 1.5 years experience working in Salesforce Lightning, Salesloft or equivalent, Sales Navigator, LeadIQ, and/or ZoomInfo
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking between various tasks
- Impeccable work ethic and dedication towards customers
- Passion for understanding and explaining technology
- A quick learner with positivity and a sense of humor
Even better if you offer
- Previous experience with web and/or mobile development projects
- Tech-savviness
- Formal SaaS lead generation training in an extremely competitive sales environment
- Experience in digital industries (communities, live-streaming, on-demand, e-commerce, gaming, etc)
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

Pay Transparency
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. A reasonable estimate of the current OTE range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market. We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.
Flexible Work Policy
We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird. We also value collaboration and relationship building. With those values in mind, we require for all employees within an hour commute range of their local office to gather with their team in office once per week as a minimum. Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule. Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
