The Sales Development team is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities through specialized outbound prospecting efforts. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you’ll be the first line of contact with potential B2B clients for the highest valued leads. SDR’s will be responsible for researching and qualifying top of funnel leads, generating a demand for our enterprise product suite.

In this role you will make $22.50/hour or more depending on the years of experience you have plus a month bonus potential. The average bonus payout for this team is $500/month, top 20% performers are making $1,500.

Essential Duties:

  • Completing daily high-volume sales activity
  • Understanding various lines of business and decision maker personas
  • Generating interest through outbound cold calling
  • Discovering the prospects’ business needs, challenges and areas of interest
  • Partner closely with Business Development to identify and source net new pipeline that leads to generate and win clients
  • Speaking to product value
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections
  • Handling a high volume of leads with a strategy on prioritization of your accounts and time.
  • Partner with Business Development to understand industries, pinpoint key trends, learn common pain points, and strategize for further growth.
  • Consistently achieve monthly targets
  • Dedication to understanding our products and services
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
  • Commitment to a minimum of 50 calls per day

Mental and Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work with computers and on the phone
  • The nature of the work in the position is sedentary and will involve sitting most of the time
  • Physical functions of the job include typing, grasping, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware continuously throughout the workday
  • Essential mental functions include concentrating on tasks, reading information, and verbal and written communication with others continuously throughout the workday

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business or Marketing preferred

Experience

  • 3 years of professional sales required
  • 3 Experience cold calling/prospecting required
  • Consistent quota attainment and achievement of critical metrics
  • C-Suite Level Communication in business setting preferred

Other

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems simultaneously and on dual screens (e.g. CRM)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
