Focuses at all times on providing a positive and memorable experience for the patient and/or their authorized and designated representatives and other customers, while ensuring that the System is able to secure appropriate reimbursement for the services provided. Performs all responsibilities in a manner that complies with the standards established by the Hospital, Clinic, outside regulatory and accreditation agencies, and consistent with the System's Mission and Values, established protocols, and commitment to exquisite customer service and continuous quality improvement. Supports the customer focused business cycle process by performing the necessary activities to schedule patients and coordinate System resources for future patient services. Accurately collects, analyzes and records the established data sets and completes the scheduling processes to enable other System personnel to subsequently efficiently greet and register patients according to their clinical needs and preferences.

- Appropriately and accurately collects and enters required information for scheduling patients and completes the check in if applicable.
- Maintains communication for all system issues, scheduling concerns and communication while working through all revenue cycle requirements.
- HIPAA Standards and Regulatory Requirements are followed and adhered to.
- Responsible for and maintaining all information related to the Revenue Cycle.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year prior scheduling, clinical, or other healthcare provider business cycle or health insurance claims processing work experience.
- Must be proficient in computer use.
- AAHAM CPAT/CCAT and/or NAHAM certification required or obtained within two years of hire.
