We're a rapidly growing, high-end screen printing and embroidery shop that handles everything from 12-piece jobs to 12,000-piece jobs. We are looking for a production manager who will be responsible for everything that happens on the production side of the business, with a focus on increasing our efficiency through data measurement.

The perfect candidate for this position wants to make amazing shirts, is a natural leader, and has great attention to detail. The right person for this position has an analytical, inquiring, and critical mindset with a strong technical orientation. This person will be focused on producing consistent, accurate, and high-quality work.

In this role, monitoring and analyzing production data will be required to make decisions and set the production schedule. The production manager will also be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical errors, managing our production staff (about 20 people) and equipment including:

-6 color automatic Roq
-14 color automatic Roq
-12 color automatic Roq
-1 color ASPE Rapid Tag
-6 color manual sidewinder
-1 in line numbering press
-Assorted heat press equipment
-Assorted dryers
-Tajima Embroidery equipment
-Brother DTG machine

Hours are about 6 am - 3:30 pm M-F with occasional weekend and night shift work.

REQUIREMENTS
You should have a general knowledge of how to use all of our equipment and be able to hop on anything in a pinch but by default, you will be managing production and making sure we're running smoothly and efficiently.

  • 5+ years of apparel screen printing experience
  • 3+ years of management/supervisory experience
  • Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail with an eye for quality control
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Analytical problem-solver
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs at times
  • Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors
  • Can quickly perform common math skills such as multiplying in dozens or calculating production rates
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Experience with hiring and firing
  • Ability to manage and maintain a budget

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Embroidery experience

Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, you may be exposed to warm or cold weather. The noise level in the work environment is often loud. We are looking to hire immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
