Job description
We are looking for someone to:
- Maintain and administer information security systems and controls access to systems based on company policies, procedures, and security best practices.
- Assists in advising management and users regarding security procedures.
- Research, evaluate and recommend systems and procedures for the prevention, detection, containment, and correction of data security breaches.
- Analyze threat detections, vulnerabilities and determines appropriate action to take.
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related area of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Requires 1-2 years’ experience with security administration or equivalent role.
- Requires a strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to quickly acquire knowledge of infrastructure, operations, and application development tools, technologies, and methods.
- Requires experience in a systems administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
- Ability to effectively identify and communicate security issues to peers and management.
