ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Provides friendly service to every customer.

• Protects company assets by adhering to Illinois gaming regulations.

• Verifies jackpot payouts.

• Observes money and chip transfers throughout the property.

• Performs security related issues as outlined in the internal controls.

• Works closely with other departments to achieve property and department goals.

• Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.

• Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.

• Completes all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 21 years of age or older required.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Updated AED and CPR certification required (Or must be obtained within your first 90-days of employment) .

• Security experience preferred.

• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.

• Must be able to obtain a Level-2 Illinois Gaming Board license.

• internal candidates must meet Harrah’s Joliet’s Transfer Eligibility Requirements.

JOB DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

• Position requires 30% standing, 10% sitting, 60% walking.

• Requires some kneeling and reaching overhead.

• Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, climbing and stooping.

• Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant public contact
