Position Responsibilities

- This role will support the Director and Associate Director A&H along with our clients in the notifications and explanations to reinsurers of individually reported claims and complex claims
- Support dedicated clients with revenues in excess of $5m on behalf of
- Handle the reinsurance assets of our valued clients, including Fortune 500 companies
- Work closely with the sales team to provide world class customer experience
- Work with technicians that support our clients wherein you are the dedicated advocate for your clients
- Opportunity to travel domestically to client offices to handle and coordinate claim audits
- Assist our clients in the notifications and explanations to reinsurers involving A&H, Medical Excess and/or Stop Loss exposures
- Research and analyze claim data to provide practical recommendations to clients
- Identify cost containment opportunities for clients and reinsurers
- Support clients with EOB reconciliations, coverage issues and resolving differences in reported claim/medical data
- Become proficient in claims and reinsurance accounting
- Be an excellent communicator with clients, brokers and reinsurers
- Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action and adjust to change are key attributes to this role. Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication skills
- Consistent track record in building and delivering presentations with strong storylines. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including executive and technical audience.
- Coordinate and support critical claim meetings
- Occasional opportunity to attend trade shows and conferences, which will offer you opportunities for networking and meeting industry experts
- Secure millions of dollars of collections for your clients every year
- Be part of a team that handles over $20B in ceded reserves per year
- Excellent on-boarding program and continuous training opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- Prior experience adjusting A&H, Medical Excess or Stop Loss claims or equivalent experience required
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and claim terminology
- Successful completion of Aon’s technical training program or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to think strategically and analytically
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Operate in a professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Other applicable Insurance and/or Reinsurance claims experience considered
- Ensure that all premium and claims for your client are handled timely and accurately
- Bringing strong collaboration will make you a critical part of the sales team

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$65,000 to $75,000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
