Position Purpose: The Senior Director of Contracts is responsible for the effective implementation of company initiatives and policy through the activities of the Contracts Department and for providing contractual advice to the CEO and President of Envolve Dental, Vision and PeopleCare and all department heads. Establishes policy, creates processes, and performs oversight of activities including the negotiation and administration of contracts with health plans, clients, provider groups, regulators, and vendors. Responsible for management of the Contracting Department, including managers and contract administrators, Department policies and procedures, and development of processes with business leaders to ensure ongoing oversight and timely execution of all contractual commitments and performance guarantees.

Oversees contracting activities to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with Company policies and standards, government laws and regulations
Reviews/approves contractual documents
Maintains relationships and productively interacts with key customer decision makers.
Effectively integrates new programs and strategies to reach productively targets
Identifies career development and training opportunities for contract professionals.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field. 7+ years in health insurance, contract administration and negotiating, project management, legal or equivalent related experience along with 3+ years of supervisory/management experience. Master’s degree in law preferred.

License/Certification: Bar License preferred.
