Senior Financial Analyst
Northeast Delta Dental in Concord, NH is looking to hire an onsite, full-time, Senior Financial Analyst who will oversee financial projects and analysis of the company's revenue and expenses. The Senior Financial Analyst will create and maintain the company's revenue models, financial forecasts, and various financial and statutory reports to provide insight to the Leadership Team and the Finance Department.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
- Assists with the preparation of the annual budget and substantiates budget recommendations by assembling and summarizing account information and identifying trends. Provides supporting analysis for presentation to the Boards of Directors.
- Prepares periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Become the subject matter expert for the software Planning Maestro, which is used for budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepares state premium tax returns and estimated premium tax filings by collecting and analyzing appropriate Assists in organizational compliance with federal tax return requirements by drafting IRS 990 tax returns for non-taxable entities. Also prepares state business enterprise tax returns, as well as claims tax returns.
- Responsible for the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation Investment reconciliation and various Northeast Delta Dental Foundation filings. Assists with RTH and Subsidiaries Board Materials.
- Become the subject matter expert for Pentaho, the data warehouse tool. Establish a process to analyze operating expense to determine fixed and variable costs by product line to allocate costs.
- Produces summarized financial status reports by collecting information, preparing financial statements, interpreting current results, and forecasting outcomes. Prepares financial reports for senior managers and to fulfill DDPA requirements.
- Maintains accounting controls by outlining and implementing general accounting processes; documents information.
- Improves the organization's accounting operations by analyzing current processes and recommending accounting procedure improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS THAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will . . .
Have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, plus at least four - six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting policies and practices and experience with computerized accounting software. Must have a valid driver's license.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
The typical work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, during normal business hours. This position will work on-premises at our Concord, NH headquarters and remote when appropriate.
