Summary :
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner collaborates with leaders across ThedaCare to identify and achieve Human Capital Strategy objectives. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner supports a broad range of work at a high level coming alongside leaders, including officers and Vice Presidents, to review, support and/or challenge their strategies/plans/requests. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner has an exceptional level of personal insight, vast human resources knowledge, understands operations and can function as a dyad or triad partner to leaders. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner remains relevant and supports every team member within their scope of support, understanding that their role is to assist them in living their unique best life.As a system-wide thinker and a forward-looking business partner, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner proactively assess people analytics as it relates to business performance to identify gaps and act as an advisor to business leaders on talent needs to optimize productivity, team retention and fulfillment. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with Human Resources and functional partners to deliver solutions and change management plans that deliver outcomes.
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities

- Assesses organizational performance systemically, defining talent gaps, and proposing solutions in support of business objectives.
- Advise and influence ThedaCare’s Operations Leaders through relationship building, delivering impact, and leveraging your experience, as well as the Human Resources team, to solve critical business problems and complex challenges and deploy solutions.
- Mentor HR Business Partners and working with them to think strategically and at scale while identifying gaps and areas of opportunity and resolving them with performance management and hands-on coaching.
- Coaches and consults on organizational design and leadership needs, as well as challenging and/or influencing decision-making processes.
- Leads and executes large-scale change management efforts, creates and holds others accountable to project plans including closed-loop feedback.
- Establishes a detailed talent roadmap, project plans and scorecards that are used to guide and pivot as needed. Brings a deep understanding of people, data, metrics and workforce trends and leverages those tools to anticipate business needs and provide relevant using data, tools, analytics and resources to drive decision making and action.
- Lead through strategic workforce planning to assess, diagnose, and execute organizational design and development initiatives to optimize effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Consult on advanced employee relations matters escalated from the Human Resources Business Partner
- Engages fully with everything from the foundational building of our systems and processes to mapping the experiences, to data entry and operations improvements while balancing strategic planning and execution within the business.
- Project manage complex and scaling programs serving as the key connector between the business and the Human Resources team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree (preferred).
- 5+ years of direct and relevant business operations experience, preferably within health care.
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience preferred and preferably within Health Care
- Experience working in healthcare operations to understand business strategy and objectives then deliver information across teams and other stakeholders is a critical requirement
- Strong appreciation for, and experience, in building credible partnerships with team members, managers and leaders at all levels
- Ability to effectively balance high-level strategic planning and delivery with a bias for action for doing the work that needs to be done at any level to build the foundation for scale
- Passion for storytelling with data and analytics with an ability to decipher raw data directly and translate it into actionable insights with a strategic plan
- Excitement for, and deep experience in, change management and internal communication strategies as well as a high comfort level in ever-changing environments
- Willingness and excitement to build processes and policies from scratch, deploy to the operational teams and manage change across your client group
