ob Summary

We are looking for a Senior IT Department Manager to join the VHA as a part of the shared service to our portfolio company. The Senior IT Department Manager oversees all the IT functions including strategy, mentoring, and directing teammates, infrastructure, network/security management, system administration, and coordinating the process of creating and or acquiring and implementing business solutions across multiple areas within the organization.


Role, Responsibilities, and Essential Functions include the following, but not limited to:

  • Manage security of networks, systems, communications, and enterprise information.
  • Ready organization for IT security audits or investigations.
  • Benchmark and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure of IT systems.
  • Review the performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements while providing best practices to meet project goals, timelines, budget, and scope objectives.
  • Implement an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers.
  • Build and manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Promote the use of innovative technologies to provide a high level of quality in a manner that will be beneficial to the organization and its clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Able to pass Government security clearances (Required)
  • Ability to lead and assess the performance of yourself and others consistent with Company values
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience in leading a SW Dev team will be a plus, but not required.
