Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will lead the Communications efforts for the region, with the goal of increasing awareness of and affinity for the Red Bull brand and its local events, athletes and media projects. You will develop the annual regional Communications plan, ensuring all communications are accomplished on-budget and achieve their planned engagement targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING

    You will lead a team responsible for the development and distribution of strategic PR communications and campaigns that influence and engage regional and national audiences

    Provide business planning inputs to support development of Regional Communications plans with your Regional leaders and the Santa Monica Communications team

    Ensure Regional Communications plans use the most efficient tactics to promote media coverage and reach new consumers and influencers

    Pitch for and lead the implementation of field Productions and all communications surrounding local Marketing activities

    Work with the other members of the region Marketing team and Santa Monica departments to build comprehensive campaigns and implement them

    Design 'breakthrough' buzzworthy PR moments and activations to enhance Red Bull's message, bringing new perspectives and vision that tap into the brand's roots

  • CAMPAIGN EXECUTION

    Establish goals, messages, and tactics for each local communications initiative and identify the appropriate tools and amplification channels for each campaign

    Manage dedicated communications budget to reflect priorities and achieve expected outcomes

    Be the Media House liaison for the region, identifying local stories and media opportunities

    Manage a comprehensive region calendar of Red Bull national and regional programs

    Measure campaign outcomes using analytical tools and report results to the business

    Create scalable communications templates, which the field marketing teams can use for the planning, execution, optimization and reporting of local or endemic programs.

    Be constantly aware of new communications trends, products and technologies

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • 5+ years of communications experience marketing high profile brands or agency account management
  • Experience working with teams across departments to accomplish successful campaigns
  • Experience planning, prioritizing, presenting, and project managing
  • Immersed in the market and in touch with digital and culture trends
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 0-10%
  • Permanent
