Job Description:

What You’ll Do

  • Drive proactive financial analytics to influence Card business decision making.

  • Develop and coach team to identify, manage, and escalate risk.

  • Build near-term and long-range financial plans in alignment with the company strategic plan development to support Board of Directors and executive leadership.

How You’ll Do It

  • Lead key driver and profitability forecasts based on external macroeconomic factors, internal trends, and strategy assumptions.

  • Execute against a planning framework that fulfills multiple business purposes including forecasting, goal setting, and funding / capital planning.

  • Synthesize forecast projections / results analyses and articulate strategic takeaways to business partners and senior leadership.

  • Effectively manage a team of analysts, driving cross-functional training opportunities and knowledge sharing.

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop robust financial forecasts, drive insightful analysis, and identify areas of risk/opportunity.

  • Provide financial analytical support of monthly financial close and earnings preparations, review and report on actual results and variances to forecasts.

  • Perform detailed competitive analyses to drive strategic insights and actions.

  • Partner with Financial Modeling and Corporate Risk Management to continuously enhance modeling robustness and address limitations/findings.

  • Continuously invest in process and reporting effectiveness drive accuracy, efficiency, and controls.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field

  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, investment banking, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in people management

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Master's degree in finance, business, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, investment banking, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in people management

  • Demonstrated ability to balance attention to detail with task prioritization.

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Proven track record of process ownership and enhancement

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $100,500.00 to $170,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
