POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Meal Program Bagger reports to the Chef Instructor and works with the Senior Meals team in bagging and transporting prepared meals to senior clients at designated senior housing complexes. This is a part-time position, not to exceed 29 hours per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pack meal with food products
• Assemble meal bags onto moving carts
• Load meal bags/carts onto buses
• Deliver meals to senior’s buildings
• Assist with food delivery storage
• Replenish bags on table
• Cleanup work station

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess or be working towards GED or equivalent.
• Certification in food handler preferred (or must obtain within the first three months of employment).

Skills/Knowledge:

• Be able to read, write and speak English. Chinese (Cantonese, Toishanese, and/or Mandarin) is a plus.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Client-focused and customer service driven.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to bend and lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
• Required to frequently sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
