- Full-Time, Monday-Friday
- $19.54/hour
General Responsibilities
Senior Nutrition Assistant:
- Order and track inventory of Home Deliver Meals
- Coordinate Food Lifeline and frozen meals deliveries to sites weekly
- Post congregate and home delivery meals to sites weekly
- Update PIF''s annually and as necessary
- Promote Senior Nutrition Services programs
- Assist with preparing presentations
- Update program information as needed
- Collect and submit volunteer hours monthly
- Other duties as assigned
Cook:
- Prepare food in accordance with pre-established menus and standards
- Adjust menus to allow for use of donated foods
- Prepare and package meals for home-delivery clients to meet standards (in relevant locations)
- Follow portion control requirements to meet standards
- Respond to the nutritional needs of seniors 6. Keep an accurate inventory
- Order food based on pre-established menus and inventory
- Keep accurate records and complete production record daily
- Supervise kitchen aide and volunteers regarding kitchen duties
- Maintain health and sanitation standards
- Perform all tasks in the kitchen as necessary, including cleanup
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and insured, reliable transportation
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
- Experience w/ preparing meals for groups ranging from 25-100s
- General knowledge of office procedures
