The responsibilities of Sr. Palo Alto Engineer may vary depending on your level of experience and skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Experienced in design & deployment of firewall solutions Palo Alto. Must have extensive exposure to deploying new firewalls, migrating from legacy platforms, and troubleshooting firewall policy issues.

• Installing and configuring Palo Alto Products in a complex cloud architecture including AWS

• Communicating technical network and network security concepts to customers, including developers, architects, and managers

• Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to enhance deployments

• Representing Deloitte's technical, business, and professional values to customers, partners, and peers

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Travel up to 15% (if needed)
• 5+ years' experience with Palo Alto tools
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to wide audiences
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Experience with networking practices i.e. Software-defined Networking (SDN), Network-based intrusion prevention systems (NIPS), Firewalls
• Experience in the cloud networking in complex cloud architectures and cloud workload security
