Description:
The Goizueta Business School is looking for an Sr. Program Coordinator to join their team! The position supports the delivery of various non-credit and/or other professional development programs/events and is responsible for conveying the GBS brand by providing excellent customer service and keen attention to create a positive and memorable client experience. Duties include executing the agreed-upon program project plan, preparation of program materials and overseeing support during program sessions. The position involves significant interaction with internal school clients (faculty and other departments) to an international audience of business clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Designs, implements, and coordinates operational facets of a specific program.
  • Develops strategic plans and objectives that ensure the program's continued success and develops evaluation methods to assess outcomes.
  • Conducts program research and ensures that the preparation of mandatory operational, statistical, and financial reports are accurate and factual, and that all reports comply with federal and state regulations and/or institutional policies.
  • Designs training programs and materials, conducts training sessions, and represents the program at various conferences, meetings, or seminars.
  • May plan, administer, or monitor the program's budget and/or grants, and conduct financial forecasting for the program.
  • May develop fundraising programs, including researching and identifying funding sources, and writing and submitting grant proposals.
  • Serves as a liaison to and interacts with other groups and organizations participating in the program or seeking knowledge of the program; may write and present speeches.
  • Maintains complete and accurate program records.
  • May serve on or chair various University committees.
  • May supervise program staff, interns, and/or volunteers.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to specified program areas and five years related program management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
  • Manages multiple events and programs simultaneously for multiple units and departments (50+ events on an annual basis delivered face to face and virtually).
  • Works to enrich client experiences through all activities.
  • Effectively and professionally communicates with internal and external clients via email, phone, and during programs in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Collaborates with staff and clients to establish event goals and objectives; develops and recommends event operating procedures; establishes and manages event planning timelines; creates task assignments; and proposes resources needed to execute event.
  • Determines fiscal requirements for events, prepares budgetary recommendations, and negotiates terms with vendors.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and coordination among speakers, staff, and volunteers during event program/production.
  • Prepares post-event analysis to assess opportunities and make recommendations for improving events and services to internal and external constituencies, and to implement recommendations as appropriate.
  • Seeks out innovative and creative ideas for events through networking and continuing education classes.
  • May supervise staff.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
  • NOTE: This position does require evening and weekend work based on business demand
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Zoom, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Qualtrics, Salesforce, Canvas preferred but not required.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule based on business demand which will include nights and weekends.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
