As a Senior Accounting Associate at our firm, you will report to one of our Accounting Managers and primarily be involved in high-level Controller and CFO level services for real estate investors and small business owners. Senior Accounting Associates will also provide technical input on tax and accounting issues, provide training to and supervise less experienced staff, and nurture client relationships.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
Areas of Responsibility
- Create and deliver quality and timely financial statements, including dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting to Controller and CFO clients while building and maintaining a strong client relationship.
- Become a trusted advisor to our clients for best accounting practices, process building and offer other firm services that could help them achieve their goals as needed.
- Provide other services to clients including overseeing bill-pay, payroll, payable and receivable entry, holding weekly or monthly oversight calls and providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Lead efficient client onboarding utilizing project management tracking to ensure a smooth and satisfactory client experience.
- Oversee team of staff accountants to ensure quality and timely work product by clearing roadblocks, setting deadlines, managing capacity and providing training and guidance.
- Confidently and comfortably consult with clients regularly via video conference, phone call or email and, when needed, resolve concerns.
- Identify areas for opportunity and implement positive solutions utilizing collaboration, technology and automations to create a more efficient and effective work environment.
- Provide a seamless and clean hand-off of books to our tax team for tax return preparation.

- Accuracy and quality of financials through formal review process and comments
- Efficient management and timely production of deliverables through metric tracking
- Implementation of firm improvements (number, type, impact)

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2-3 years real estate and small business accounting experience
- Proven track record of successfully working directly with clients, managing client relationships, and ensuring engagement objectives are met accurately and on-time.
- Effective written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- High level of technical ability with Microsoft Excel

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
