Senior Recruiter

OVERVIEW
Caribou Thunder is seeking a Senior Recruiter to support an office responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and presenting offers to qualified candidates for employment. This is a fast-paced office environment, currently with 31 team members broken out into a Front Office, Recruiter Team, Recruitment Support Team and Sourcer Team. There is one main office location, and some duties require work to be split between the office and an external location.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as economics, international relations, business administration, engineering, human resources, computer science, or a related relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience in identifying talent and candidate sourcing
- NOTE: 2 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate within a team atmosphere while also working independently.
- Duties will take place roughly 50% in the office and 50% from an outside location.
- Travel to work locations is via POV.
- While in the office, the incumbent will be required to engage with occupation subject matter experts (SMEs) that make up the Recruiter Team.
- While outside the office, the role will be autonomous.
- Take part in numerous interactions to include interfacing with external applicants and internal SMEs.
- Collaborate with SMEs and may need to present to additional stake holders.
- External hours are flexible, internal hours are also somewhat flexible but must be coordinated with the schedule of the SMEs with Core Hours of 9am-2pm.
- Responsible for engaging directly with external schools and professional associations.
- Responsible for internal travel notification coordination for attendees, event registration and payments, and assisting occupational recruiters in generating participation from personnel. Travel to each event is not expected, though some minimal travel is desired (roughly once per month in the Fall and Spring busy seasons).
- Collaborate with recruiters to develop targeted strategies to conduct outreach at educational and professional institutions that align with this office's niche occupations.
- Assess the effectiveness of the outreach and provide feedback to the occupational recruiters and management.
- Assist in tracking the effectiveness of the events attended based on a return on investment (applicants and offers tied to each event).
- Generate reporting on the effectiveness of each event and affiliation.
- Adhere to established processes in the office pertaining to event registration and travel coordination.
- Track lessons learned and contribute to process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Professional demeanor is required at all times.
- Both verbal and written communication is essential in this role.
