Senior Research Planning and Business Development for Biotechnology Contract Research Services ( Full Remote )
Job description
A leading international Biotechnology company is seeking a research planning & business development who has extensive scientific knowledge, clear communication skills, and project coordinating skills.
We are lookin for the senior research planning and business development who will join this boutique contract research services company to help create the next vaccine, cure, or gene therapy in partnership with some of the most innovative biotech and biopharmaceutical companies across the global.
This position will work alongside the most dedicated scientists in the industry, advising on the experimental design and application of mouse model in their research.
This position is hybrid working of NYC office or full remotely.
Identify leads, participate in campaigns, and send promotional emails & social media messages to
generate new business.
- Lead promotional presentations via web conferences, teleconferences, or onsite visits.
- Achieves annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Participates in building a proposal for product and service inquiries.
- Responsible for managing opportunities and accurately forecasting personal sales pipeline
- Develop account plans for the fiscal year for key accounts.
- Create content and distribute promotion materials for appropriate leads and accounts.
- Travel to scientific conferences and exhibitions to promote company products and services.
- Builds, nurtures, and grows professional relationships & network with pharmaceutical leaders and
researchers.
- Provides sales activity report to management
- Follow up with current account contacts and leads.
- Responsible for executing umbrella level agreement templates (Master Service Agreements,
Confidentiality Agreement, etc) with Accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating CRM database.
- Perform market research and analysis to identify trends and optimize sales strategies for targeted leads.
Scientific Affairs tasks mainly include:
- Discuss scientific background, research goals and experimental methods with leads and clients.
- Review and understand preclinical study designs, protocols, and reports.
- Prepare scientifically accurate study outlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life science fields such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, etc. Advanced degree a plus. Business degree combined with professional experience in the above fields may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in the account management, lead generation, business development, life science field, etc.
- Possesses a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
- English (native/full professional proficiency)
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%
