Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (Hybrid role)
A family-owned public accounting firm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is searching for an experienced and self-motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join their growing team! As the Accountant, you would be responsible for performing general accounting functions for various industries and large company clientele.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to multitask and manage time appropriately
- Reconcile and resolve ledger variances
- General Accounting duties
- Review Bookkeepers work
- Supervise Bookkeepers
- Month end closing
- Payroll and payroll review
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Write up for business tax preparation
- Driven work ethic in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/tax industry (public accounting preferred)
- Strong QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required
- Experience with Pro-Series software is a plus
- Payroll knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of general and related sub-ledger reconciliation close processes
