Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 (Annually)

LOCATION/HOURS
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our New York City office. It is expected that some duties will be performed on-site and some remotely, understanding that government and public health guidelines will help determine the extent to which it is safe to carry out in-person and onsite activities.
All candidates must be within commutable distance of SEO’s offices at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.
OVERVIEW
The SEO Tech Developer is an intensive immersion program for Black, Latinx and Native American rising college juniors majoring in computer science and computer engineering. Launched with the guidance of tech industry leaders, this program will help close the preparation gap for students of color through knowledge, training, and experience. The SEO Tech Developer will also speed the development of the technical and soft skills required for entry-level tech roles at leading tech companies and startups — with an emphasis on the application of programming tools in addressing real world problems.

The SEO Tech Campus Recruiter is responsible for building a strong undergraduate pipeline of diverse talent from universities across the United States with the goal of increasing applications to the SEO Tech Developer program, along with promoting the Technology internship opportunities available through SEO Career. You will need to have a strong understanding of the SEO Tech Developer program, partners, their industry, and their jobs to be successful in this role. You will have an opportunity to engage with students, organizations and key campus staff to help them to understand our unique value proposition by being the face of SEO Tech on campuses across the country.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of approximately 20-25 universities, and act as the primary Technical Recruiter for the Tech Developer and SEO Career program.
Create a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract qualified, diverse candidates by identifying, developing, and leveraging key campus relationships and resources
Collect, manage, and use recruitment data and market research to inform strategies that build brand awareness and
increase positive sentiment for SEO among our target population
Create social media campaigns, presentation decks, and other outreach materials to promote and market SEO Tech Developer programming; partner with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure alignment with SEO’s branding and tone, as needed.
Act as the key liaison for students, interpret the program’s value proposition, and help guide them through the application process and partner opportunities.
Conduct LinkedIn Recruiter searches when assigned and work with other members of the internal team on special projects.
Other duties in support of the SEO Tech Developer and Career programs, and SEO’s overall mission to be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum of a Bachelor’s in a related technical and/or human resources field required.
Minimum 2-4 years of professional work experience in recruiting; campus or technical recruiting, our sourcing experience a plus.
Must have a working knowledge of the technology industry and technical skill sets and degree programs.
Adept at learning and using technology, systems, and processes in a cloud-based environment; familiarity with social media marketing, and direct recruiting experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Google, preferred.
Strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
Attention to detail, especially related to data collection and management. Proficiency in MS Office and advanced reporting skills required. Direct experience using applicant tracking systems, CRMs, or similar databases are a plus.
Expert presentation and extemporaneous communication skills. Must be comfortable addressing and engaging with diverse communities at various levels and mediums, including in-person, email, messaging platforms, and phone calls.

The compensation listed in this posting reflects what SEO believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
