Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is seeking a qualified Service Coordinator to be accountable for meeting Frazer’s Service Department goals. Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team. The Service Coordinator at Frazer reports to the Service Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring a great customer experience by being the liaison between the customer and the service shop personnel. This role will collect and communicate all information that moves in both directions between the customer and the service shop. They are responsible for ensuring that all information is entered with a high degree of accuracy while also demonstrating a high degree of productivity.


What Does a Week in the Life of the Service Coordinator Look Like?

  • Responsible for meeting and greeting the customer.
  • Responsible for collecting information from the customer.
  • Responsible for inputting data that is needed to process all service jobs.
  • Responsible for ordering resource needs for service jobs.
  • Responsible for ensuring all processes have been followed prior to closing out all service jobs.
  • Responsible for following up with customers to ensure the customer had a great experience.
  • Responsible for following any and all company and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

How Performance is Evaluated

We use things like self-evaluations, group reviews, and quarterly check-ins to help define a clear path to success. You will also have an opportunity to give feedback to peers to help them to grow in their roles as well.


Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • 1-2 years of customer service with parts or auto industry service experience.
  • Ability to use computer software programs such as Google G-Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive, Spreadsheets, etc.), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and shop floor control systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience.
  • 3-5 years of on the job experience using computer software programs such as Google G-Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive, Spreadsheets, etc.), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and shop floor control systems.

Skills (to Pay the Bills)

  • Ability to demonstrate patience when working with internal and external customers while being attentive to their needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate being calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to apply active listening skills to internal and external customers' needs while being able to demonstrate the ability to properly communicate and translate those needs to others.
  • Ability to be a positive representation of the company that the customer enjoys working with.
  • Ability to go above and beyond the status quo when assisting others.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, detail, and productivity with computer software including documents, spreadsheets, the company's ERP systems, and other business programs.
  • Ability to discern when to escalate a situation to the manager or the next level.

Software Knowledge

Also, here are a few software packages that the Service Coordinator would eventually need to be versed in. Don’t worry . . . we expect some on-the-job training.


  • Google G-Suite (Gmail, Documents, Drive, Spreadsheets, etc.)
  • UKG
  • ERP (N4 Syteline - Trainable)

Oh, and $alary

Of course, we didn't forget the salary… Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $18 - $26 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.


Work Schedule

The Service Coordinator will work Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM and Friday 6:00 am - 10:00 am. Frazer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
