As a Set Up Technician , you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established engineering principles to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organization's standards of quality and cost.

• Perform standard technical calculations (for example, on time estimates, or equipment loads) and prepare standard operation sheets.

• Monitor production processes and work methods; and collect, compile, and analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes.

• Drives the forklift to move, set up, and store bulk material.

• Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.

• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• Responsible for materials, equipment and 6S in the work area.

• Develops, establishes, and maintains effective production procedures, methods.

Qualifications

• Maintains scheduling of cleaning tank interior and exterior for cleaning and presentable.

• At least one year of directly applicable experience.

• Must be able to accurately interpret and follow instructions provided by operational manuals or company procedures or guidelines.

• Must be able to accurately interpret and apply equipment settings requiring basic knowledge of mathematics, percentages, fractions, and decimals to set equipment flow rates and volume specifications.

• Must be able to use hand and power tools with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must possess required mechanical skills and abilities to perform set up, maintenance and parts cleaning tasks.

• Must be able to obtain and retain a forklift operator certificate.

• Must be able to use and wear all required PPE equipment and clothing with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English the technical language and terminology associated with production requirements.

• Must be able to accurately perform and interpret mathematical operations, formulas and conversions using standard and metric systems.

• Must possess a mechanical aptitude to understand the set-up, modification and operation of production equipment and system.
