Setup Grade III
Bemis Manufacturing Company, 120+ Years Strong!
Primary Function:
A Grade III Setup is expected to learn set up and run current production tooling and equipment to efficiently manufacture quality products. The candidate should also being to understand the extrusion and injection molding processes and parameters that can alter those processes. The candidate should develop a basic understanding of the most commonly molded resins.
Job Duties:
- Set up production tooling and equipment in order to produce a quality product.
- Maintain records and documentation to permit standard duplication of the production equipment setup.
- Begin to develop technical knowledge through trade journals, classes, etc.
- Must attend Roundtable meetings and training programs related to the job.
- Learn to maximize departmental resources.
- Assist other technical team members as jobs/schedules demand.
- Help maintain good housekeeping.
Required Ability:
- Able to learn the extrusion and injection molding processes.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Obtain a forklift license.
- Function safely in all aspects of the position.
- Able to organize work assigned and carry it out in a time efficient manner.
