SHIFT LEADER

Are you ready to advance in your career with a leadership role? Then youll be a great fit for a Shift Leader position with Wingstop. A Shift Leader is in charge of everything that happens during a particular shift. Youll direct your team to perform at its best by putting your Aces in their Places, providing excellent service to our guests, and hustling to ensure all of our orders are done right, on time. As you continue your development, youll start to assist in weekly managerial duties like inventories, cash accountability, hiring, and training, and soon youll be on your way to running your own restaurant!

Some of your specific responsibilities will include:

Managing the kitchen operations on a shift by assigning positions to the team and coaching each team member on their performance

Assisting the front-of-house team in resolving guest issues

Working various positions in the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house

Making leadership decisions such as assigning shift breaks, verifying cash counts, directing food prep, and completing daily ops checklists

Keeping the restaurant clean and in compliance with all food safety standards

Communicating with above-store leadership about how Buckeye Restaurant Group can support your goals for yourself and for the restaurant

Candidates for our Shift Leader role should meet the following requirements:

Prior experience in a managerial role at a restaurant

Can work flexible schedules including nights (until 1AM) and weekends

Can communicate effectively via email and phone

Have a good familiarity with numbers and ability to understand internal reports

Have high energy, be comfortable on your feet, and be able to lift 40 pounds

Have their own reliable transportation

Always act with honesty and integrity

Be legally able to work in the United States

Candidates holding a Level 2 food safety certification are a big plus
