Purpose and Scope:
The Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for preparing and shipping customer orders, receiving and entering purchase receipts, and maintaining 5S practices in the shipping and warehouse areas.

Responsibilities:

• Lift, carry, pick, and stack materials.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Enter shipments into ERP system
• Enter shipments into customer portals as needed
• Schedule & load trucks
• Unload incoming material and store in warehouse
• Enter incoming material receivers into ERP system
• Effectively stack and store product safely and in the appropriate area.
• Rotate floor stock by moving oldest product first.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned.
• Recognize damaged product and take appropriate actions.
• Inspect and report any safety malfunctions of fork truck equipment.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Must have experience driving a fork truck.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and be reliable.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow basic directions and work with little supervision.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Have and maintain excellent attendance.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with online shipping methods

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in seated position majority of the day.
• Must be able to periodically lift and carry to up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to twist, pull, push, and bend.
• Must be able to visually recognize damaged packaging or product

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
