Job Family Definition:
Accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials. Working closely with the procurement team to retrieve tracking number details for expected purchase orders to fill shortages on released orders. Also collaborating with the purchasing team to provide daily reports and updates regarding new order releases and material shortage statuses. Works closely with the the test, production and pack out departments to capture any zero on hand shortages or bill of material errors leading to shortages. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, order fulfillment; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; at the exempt level, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis.
Management Level Definition:
Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require initiative and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures. May determine methods and procedures for new assignments. Typically provides guidance to other non-exempt employees.
Responsibilities:
- Performs varied and general tasks involved in controlling inventory; receiving, storing and distributing materials. Ensuring pull requests are sent quickly once stocked to ensue order fulfillment and production progression.
- Supports complex-level transactional processes for specialized job assignments with minimal supervision.
- Serves as a primary data resource for exempt-level employees by delivering specialized reports, typically in a consultative manner, to exempt-level employees.
- Identifies complex level functional process anomalies and leads the process-oriented tasks to resolve the issues (e.g. schedule and audit of cycle counts).
- Monitors the execution of process-oriented tasks of others in lower level roles, to ensure pull requests are completed, and accurately.
- Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving support of basic- to complex level problems related to function.
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Typically 4-6 years of experience in materials and distribution, preferably in a technical environment.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse management applications and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Mastery in English and local language.
- Excellent technical knowledge specific to business function.
- Excellent multi-tasking ability.
- Basic project management skills.
