Q Center is looking for an On-Call Shuttle Driver to join our team!

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for driving the shuttle bus to and from the various locations according to scheduled shuttle runs. The Driver represents the Q Center and is responsible to interact with guests in an attentive, courteous, informative and efficient manner.

The starting rate for this position is $20/hour.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must have a valid CDL with a P endorsement driver's license for Illinois
• Must not have any moving violations on driving record within the last 3 years

Physical Requirements

• Able access the shuttle bus without assistance. Able to perform visual and operational inspection of the shuttle bus prior to and after each use. The shuttle bus is not ADA accessible.
• Stamina to sit for several hours at a time and maintain a focus on safe driving and hospitality.
• Hand-eye coordination to operate the shuttle while watching their surroundings.
• Ability to assist guests getting on and off the shuttle if necessary.

Fundamental Requirements

• Maintain the shuttle interior cleanliness.
• Maintain safety of all guests at all times. Ensure that riders comply with ridership guidelines.
• Complete all pre and post vehicle use inspections and paperwork
• Maintain the set guest shuttle route and schedule. Follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits, even at the expense of arriving late to their destinations.
• If mechanical difficulties or unsafe conditions or road hazards are encountered, the problems should be reported to Security or the Front Desk. Mechanical problems must be documented and submitted before the end of the shift.
• Notify security of accidents and complete appropriate documentation.
