- Competitive Edge: You will not only be in charge of designing from A to Z the Signs that the Sales Dept. will sell (Pre-Sale) but also participate and get the know-how to prepare the Post-Sales Documents to allow the Signs to be built in-house or outsourced, depending on the techniques used and the load of our shop.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Designing electric and outdoor digital signage solutions into small and medium-sized businesses as well as large corporate accounts mainly throughout New England and occasionally the Country.

- Stay up to date with the latest material used and the latest techniques,

- Be able to achieve a certain volume per week to allow the Estimation and the Sales department to submit their quotes in a timely manner,

- Always comply with the best practice and the standard dimensions when proposing a design,

- Embracing and executing our process, which includes the effective use of our CRM/ERP system (Keyedin Signs Manufacturing)

Education, Experience, or Required Skills:

- Degree in Design, able to use Coral Draw as well as the most well-known design software

- Consistently leads his/her peers by example, by embodying the capabilities, motivation, and drive to succeed of a top performer.

- Demonstrated ability to design displays that will reflect what the customer will get in the end,

- Attention to the details, well organized, able to retrieve the drawing history, always expose the latest artwork in the appropriate folders,

- Organized and self-sufficient; proven to set goals and achieve them, self-motivated, and lead others via example.

- Able to work effectively with other team members, to provide the best experience for the "internal customers" (sales team, estimators, project management and shop)

- Organized and self-sufficient.

- Willingness and initiative to learn and contribute to the team’s professional development.

- 2 or more years proven design experience, Electric Sign experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

• 2+ years proven design experience using COREL DRAW, Electric Sign a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to convert customers and sales department expectations into nice and realistic signage,
• Attention to the details, with a special focus on scaling and allowed square-footage allowed by the towns (information provided)
• Able to work effectively with other team members, to provide the best design in a timely manner to increase the likelihood for the sales team to close the deal.
• At ease with the utilization of existing CRM/ERP (Keyedin Sign Manufacturing) and compliance with Barlo Signs internal processes,
• Willingness and initiative to learn and contribute to the team’s professional development.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Graphic design using COREL DRAW: 2 years (Required)
