RYNO Strategic Solutions is looking for a Social Media Marketing Director to work in our fun, fast-paced North Phoenix office. This role is a leadership position that manages a team of social media analysts and will regularly assess employee performance.

You are a solution-oriented leader with an interest in developing employees and overseeing day-to-day social media operations. You have a passion for social media, brand, and content strategy. You keep up with social media trends, marketing tactics, and have a deep understanding of all social media platforms. You are a quick thinker, a team player, and love keeping up on the latest newest platform changes and marketing tools. You are an open and direct communicator and are not afraid to throw out an idea or constructively challenge an existing one. Department innovation and enforcing company policies and processes are important to you.

We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, positive, analytical, demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, and takes ownership of department performance.

On a daily basis, the right candidate will:

  • Manage the Social Media department by overseeing day-to-day operations
  • Oversee team recruitment, career pathing, employee development, and review performance routinely
  • Prepare regular analytical reporting for upper management
  • Set and enforce policies and processes
  • Identify new social media content and marketing trends
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective social media strategies to maximize ROI for RYNO clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support client digital marketing strategies
  • Understand how to make content work for different audiences and different platforms
  • Understand the importance of copywriting for social media posts and advertising
  • Build and manage a minor book of accounts
  • Other duties as requested by management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 4+ years of previous management experience
  • 3+ years of executing paid media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • General Understanding of digital marketing
  • Facebook Blueprint certified
  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premier, SEMrush, Canva, SalesForce, or similar
  • Has a history of growing client social media profiles
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and strives to consistently produce quality work
  • Enjoys collaborating with peers and executive management

Required:

  • 2+ years of leadership and management experience (clearly documented on your resume)
  • 3+ years of social media experience (Content creation, maintaining budgets, evaluating analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office setting
  • A good sense of humor. We like to laugh and have fun!
