Software Developer Job Description:
We are seeking an experience and energetic problem solver with attention to detail, interest in process improvement, and great communication skills. You should be a self-starter, quick-learner, and motivated SW engineer who can work in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will work closely with an integrated functional team. Your responsibilities will include design, development, integration, test, and installation.
Software Developer Required Tasks:
- Recent experience with software design, development, and test
- Recent experience working in a Linux environment
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming
- C++11 or later
Software Developer Desirable Skills:
- JavaFX
- Eclipse
- Python 2 or 3
- Bash scripting
- Network programming
- RHEL 7 or later
- Git
- Automated testing
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Experience working in a large team
- Experience working on a large codebase
- Secure coding practices
- Static code analysis
- Interest in domestic and international travel
- Must have a DoD Secret Clearance to begin work.
Software Developer Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming/Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and must have at least an interim clearance to start.
