Job Summary
Langan is seeking a .NET Developer to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in providing the design, development, and implementation of software projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic and innovative company initiatives through technological solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with employees and management to identify application development solutions, new applications, or modifications to existing programs;
- Define, design, build, support, and test reusable components to create complex systems;
- Provide expertise to system users including troubleshooting issues, as well as identifying and correcting inefficiencies;
- Define systems work scope and recommend the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution;
- Work on multiple project timelines simultaneously; and
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
- 0-2 years of experience in object-oriented programming with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and LinQ;
- Experience with designing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to improve operating efficiencies;
- Ability to develop and support software integrations between complex enterprise software systems, utilizing JavaScript, XML, jQuery, AJAX, and .NET frameworks;
- Experience in full-stack development and mobile application development is a plus;
- Ability to write and work with RESTful APIs and data formats including JSON and XML;
- Knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Angular or React;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
