Software Engineer - Linux Configuration (Hybrid - King of Prussia PA)

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Linux Configuration for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. The focus of this role is to responsible for supporting configuration and automated installation of Red Hat Linux and other software products

This contract position is initially approved till 9/3/2023, with extensions possible, 40-hour-per-week role. (4-day 10-hour shifts per week). This position is a hybrid role with remote and onsite at our client's offices in King of Prussia, PA.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

Perform Linux configuration for the following Tomcat, MongoDB, Cisco Switch, Firefox, RHEL 7, RHEL 8, and Apache Web Server. Supporting configuration and automated installation of Red Hat Linux and other software products including web browsers, web servers, databases, and containerized applications. Utilize provisioning tools Ansible and Kiskstart to configure and install software

Requirements:

4+ years of experience with Linus configuration DevOps experience to include one or more of the following: VirtualBox Virtual Machines, Docker Containers; Gitlab; Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Nexus. Bachelor's degree Experience with Linux cyber hardening Experience with one or more of the following Tomcat, MongoDB, Cisco Switch, Firefox, RHEL 7, RHEL 8, and Apache Web Server.

Compensation: $65/hr - $75/hr
