A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Software Testers are responsible for performing assessments of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures to ensure a high level of software quality and consistency. Troubleshooting and characterizing defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation of test operations and reports results to engineering. You will closely with members of the Project, Development, and Production Support teams to meet agreed-upon deliverables.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes software validation protocols.
• Assists product development engineers in replication of product failures.
• Verifies fixes are applied by executing targeted tests.
• Effectively communicates with peers and project team both through email and via face-to-face interactions.
• Develops and maintains effective working relations with colleagues in a business area, proactively answering queries on testing and following up on actions with stakeholders.
• Performs and documents software test evaluations in compliance with test plan procedures.
• Efficiently manages own time to complete work and associated paperwork by assigned completion dates.
• Reviews data for compliance to specifications and report abnormalities.
• Confirms completion of the required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
• Takes responsibility for self-development, actively seeking feedback and responding accordingly.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
• Working knowledge of SCRUM and Agile practices.
• Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Minimum certifications/educational level:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.

Minimum experience:

• 6 plus months experience testing software
• Experience working in a team setting.
• Experience in proof reading, following detailed work instructions, and projects requiring critical thinking skills.
