Wedding Bands & Co. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Showroom Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day operations of the business. As the Showroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for greeting and directing customers, answering phone calls, managing executive calendar and emails, entering/processing new orders, managing special projects, and more. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Showroom Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn from our master CEO and gain valuable knowledge and skills in the jewelry industry, potentially leading to a career path as a jeweler or within the wedding industry. Wedding Bands & Co. has been one of the largest diamond jewelry stores and service jewelers in the Chicago area since 1999, with a spacious fine jewelry showroom, executive offices, design department, and a diamond library. Our company strives to provide the most meaningful pieces at the best prices, and most importantly, the highest quality and service to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of high touch customer service experience, preferably in fine jewelry or high-end retail. Strong organizational skills, computer skills, and maintaining professional dress and grooming standards are also required.

The Showroom Coordinator must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for a total of 4 hours per day between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Saturday working is mandatory). Days off will be Wednesday and Sunday.Minum 30 Hours a week

Hourly wages will be based on years of relevant experience and tenure with the company.Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct customers
• Answer phone calls and voicemails
• Resolve shared/Executive Emails and schedule
• Data entry and order processing
• Appraisal Preparation
• Inventory Management in Spare Time
• Special projects, i.e., Social media, marketing projects

Qualifications:

• Fluent English communication skills are essential
• 60 wpm and over typing speed
• 1-2 years of high touch customer service
• Fine Jewelry or high-end retail experience preferred
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Maintain professional dress and grooming standards

Schedule: Must be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4 hours (between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Saturdays 10-5pm. Days off will be Wednesday and Sunday.
