Job description
Assists in planning and implementation of marketing department initiatives. Responsible for the coordination of production, printing, implementation and distribution of advertising messaging across multiple channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface with all departments to ensure timely development of creative materials for all property promotions.
- Responsible for all aspects of property signage, digital and print: planning, development and execution/installation, and budgetary accountability for same.
- Coordinate production schedules for various projects, including tracking and scheduling all copy, art, lists, cost estimates, invoices and other material through every stage of production.
- Assist with marketing plans and run lists for all media, including outdoor, radio, television, print and internet, and execution thereof.
- Assist with social media initiatives, digital advertising campaigns and website content.
- Assist with Public Relations initiatives.
- Coordinate photo shoots for printed material, social media and advertising.
- Obtain bids and initiate purchases in accordance with company policy; work with Purchasing and Warehouse on inventory and deliveries.
- Maintain records of all completed projects, including final files.
- Assist with Direct Marketing production and execution as needed.
- Assist with promotions and special events as needed.
- Conduct oneself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Inform Supervisor of Guest needs which may require special accommodations

- Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times
- Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform Guests
- Handle Team Member and Guest concerns/dissatisfaction and disputes timely and professionally to the Team Member/Guest satisfaction, while maintaining financial responsibility
- Promote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all
- Inspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situations
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with vendors, Guests and co-workers
- Create a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of morale, productivity and performance
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violationsUnder the direction of the Manager of Recruitment, this person is responsible for assisting and supporting in recruiting, screening and securing qualified applicants to fill open positions at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Determine best sourcing strategies and resources to drive applicant traffic. Develop new, creative recruiting ideas to successfully find top talent and place qualified job applicants into existing openings.
- Ensure that positive employee relations are maintained with Team Members as well as hiring managers.
- Know about each open position on the property, including its requirements, responsibilities, and pay.
- Assist applicants when necessary with the electronic application process.
- Screen applicants, either in-person or via telephone, that are marked by hiring managers for interview to establish fit.
- Review all applications in the HR system and either “reject” or forward onto the hiring manager for review.
- Ensure that proper procedures are followed concerning the applicant’s hiring process and that it is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Mark/note candidates’ profiles in HR systems accordingly.
- Ensure that the hiring manager has completed all necessary paperwork for candidates’ hire.
- Communicate to the candidate being offered a position what their position title will be, the rate of pay for the position, and explain the remainder of the hiring process (Gaming).
- Ensure all processes are streamlined, allowing for the shortest amount of time from the requisition approval to orientation date.
- Ensure that “rejected” candidates receive correspondence regarding their application/interview.
- Ensure hiring preference is extended to members of the Seminole Tribe and to members of other nationally recognized Native American tribes.
- Contact accepted candidates for hire – scheduling them for orientation classes and explaining how to complete their new hire paperwork through the electronic process.
- Complete I-9 forms and “Validate” new hires in HR systems.
- Enter transferred/promoted team members into the HR system.
- Organize and plan hiring events and job shadowing programs alongside other recruiters and the Recruitment Manager.
- Complete other related and compatible tasks/duties as assigned.
- Abide by all company and departmental policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review new credit applications and approve, modify credit limit, or deny requests. Refer credit line requests over a pre-determined amount to Manager or above level depending on amount requested.
- Execute credit strategies/initiatives as set forth to obtain new business or enhance existing business
- Activate initial lines and assigns proper deposit delay.
- Compile accurate gaming history on preferred customers through direct contact (Exec to Exec) to provide senior management with the most accurate and complete gaming profile for decisions above his/her authority level.
- Evaluate requests for temporary increases.
- Provide highest level of personal service and attention to the needs of Casino Credit patrons.
- Obtain sensitive and confidential information in a safe, private and confidential setting.
- Articulate denials of requests logically and courteously to ensure positive guest service and continued patronage to our casino.
- Exhibit effective written and verbal communication across all levels of personnel including upstream reporting
- Coordinate all internal and external audit requests, respond accordingly and follow-up/through to ensure compliance
- Evaluate continued credit worthiness of active customers through re-verification of financial and gaming data.
- Foster a superior guest service culture
- Review daily in house returns to determine disposition.
- Review daily returns from Central credit.
- Monitor and evaluate expected and unexpected credit arrivals.
- Track markers issued for walk/roll and take appropriate action.
- Call premium players prior to deposit.
- Evaluate temporary (TTO’s) and permanent limit requests up to authorized level
- Develop relationships and promote player development involvement with new and existing customers.
- Ensures the protection of customer’s confidential information and credit lines.
- Complies with all departmental and Company Policies including Tribal business ethics guidelines.
- Maintains confidentiality of all Seminole Gaming trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
- Responsible for overseeing collection activities and presenting a monthly update to the credit committee.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A good eye for design and familiarity with basic graphic design mechanics: file formats, graphic design packages
- Ability to multi-task with solid time and project management skills
- Ability to work proactively and effectively within a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment
- Moderate experience and understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, for image manipulation and graphics creation preferred.
- Moderate experience with web platforms, including Vizergy and Sitecore, preferred.
- Moderate experience with digital signage platforms, including Four Winds Interactive, preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint with high level of Excel proficiency.
- Must possess proficient grammatical skills to include ability to draft and edit copy for various marketing collateral and initiatives; outstanding communication, writing and proof-reading abilities required
- Must possess proficient mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, specific to position responsibilities.

- Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to continuously maneuver throughout the Casino.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 10-30 pounds and ability to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis.
