Job Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide management with accurate and timely information/analyses for making business decisions by developing, interpreting, and implementing complex concepts, models and techniques for planning and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  Work with Senior Manager to prepare the department budget and determine resource requirements needed to support Company’s goals and objectives for each fiscal year.
• Each month compare actual financial and/or operational results to the budgeted/forecasted amounts and provide variance explanations where necessary.
• Provide trend analysis of operational and/or financial data to support the Business Units or Company’s needs.
• Develop presentations and month-end reports for management.
• Build models that utilize both financial and operational data to disseminate and make critical business decisions. Track and report key operational and financial performance measures. Prepare monthly reports or presentations, as needed.
• Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives designed to enhance accounting practices and improve internal controls.
• Provide oversight and management of assigned VAT accounts.
• Support and promote the company’s Brand Promise through collaboration, positive attitude, and stellar customer service.
• Provide year-end close and audit support.
• Other projects as assigned by Sr. Manager / Treasurer / CFO.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 
  BS in Finance or Accounting Degree / MBA / CFA / CPA a plus.
• 7 - 10 Years work experience in related field or role.
• Proficient in Access/ Excel / Power Point and working knowledge of Oracle, especially use of ODB connections for data gathering.
• Ability to work independent with minimal supervision.
• Must exhibit a positive teamwork attitude and a mature level of decision-making skills.
