The role of the Communications team is to develop and define the overarching messaging and communications strategy for the brand and to get people talking about Red Bull through media coverage, social opinion leader engagement and partner content amplification while leveraging Red Bull's social and owned channels. The team develops and maintains media relationships, helps to bring opinion leaders into the Red Bull world through experiences and works with external partners to share our key messages.
As the Sr. Manager, Communications, you will lead the Communications efforts for the New York region, with the goal of increasing awareness of and affinity for the Red Bull brand and its events, artists, athletes and media projects in the New York media market. You will be responsible for developing the annual New York region Communications plan, ensuring all communications are executed on budget and achieve their planned engagement targets.

COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING
Lead a team responsible for the development and distribution of strategic PR communications and campaigns that influence and engage regional and national audiences
Provide business planning inputs to support development of Communications plans with your Regional cross-functional leaders across the business
Ensure Regional Communications plans utilize the most efficient tactics to drive media coverage and reach new consumers and influencers
Pitch for and lead the implementation of field Productions and all communications surrounding local Marketing activities
Work closely with the other members of the region Marketing, team and Santa Monica and Global teams to build and execute comprehensive campaigns.
Devise 'breakthrough' buzzworthy PR moments and activations to elevate the company's message, bringing new perspectives and vision that tap into the brand's roots
CAMPAIGN EXECUTION
Establish objectives, goal, messages, and tactics for each regional communications initiative and identify the appropriate tools and amplification channels for each campaign.
Manage dedicated communications budget to reflect priorities and deliver expected outcomes
Act as a Media House liaison for the region, identifying local stories and media opportunities
Own and maintain a comprehensive region calendar of Red Bull initiatives
Collaborate with key Region and SaMo stakeholders - including brand, sales, event marketing, production - to achieve campaign goals.
Oversee accurate and consistent representation of the Red Bull brand in all regional activations.
Measure outcome using analytic tools and report results to key internal and external stakeholders.
Keep Santa Monica and Global informed of needs and opportunities in the New York media market
Act as a key liaison between Communications team and external Agency partners
Review estimates for campaign services and effectively manage to budgets
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Be constantly aware of emerging communications trends, products and technologies.
Provide input on campaigns that delight our consumers and enhance Red Bull's reputation for creativity and inspiration.

- 5-7 years experience marketing high profile brands or agency account management.
- Capable of cultivating a strong team environment across regions and functions.
- Track record of delivering results against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and presentations.
- Creative thinker and innovator; in touch with digital, culture, trends, etc.
- Able to travel as needed; work flexible hours/days of week and weekends
- Compensation: $125,000 to $190,000 (Actual salary offer may vary based on experience) + incentives (bonus, car stipend or company vehicle)
