This role is remote, but the candidate must live in Southern California and be available to come into the Santa Ana office occasionally.

About You

• Organized: you’re able to handle multiple projects at once and can make sure all are getting the necessary attention

Experience & Skills (Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and related 1-2 years of accounting work experience
• A strong foundation of accounting knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Solid multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritize, manage your time and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. v-lookup, pivot table, etc.)

• Public accounting background preferred
• Proven experience using Concur or other expense reporting software
• Experience using ERP systems a bonus

• Own certain AP and AR operations to help manage cash flows and enforce policies and compliance
• Manage AP email and all communication with vendors
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Run various ad-hoc reports for analysis purposes
• Assist with the preparation and review of the production credit calculation for the sales bonus.
• Responsible for month-end close process
• Complete account reconciliations
• Maintains and strengthens key internal and external relationships
• Identify opportunities to improve processes
• Interface with other departments and business units to obtain information required for accounting analysis
• Prepare journal entries and other accounting transactions, maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are GAAP compliant
